Learn how returns work on Motohub and how we protect buyers in case of issues
Introduction
Motohub is committed to creating a trusted marketplace that is fair to both buyers and sellers. This policy outlines our Return Policy and Buyer Protection program, designed to ensure fair and transparent transactions.
Return Window
Returns are permitted within 72 hours of confirmed delivery if the item is return-eligible or protected by Motohub Buyer Protection. Following this period, the sale is considered final, and the funds will be released to the seller.
Before requesting a return, buyers should first contact the seller directly to find a resolution. If the problem persists, a return can be initiated by clicking the “Request Return” button located in the Order Details section.
You’ll be asked to select the reason for your return. These reasons fall into two categories: Personal Reasons and Product Reasons.
Personal Reasons for Return
Examples include:
- Changed my mind
- Ordered by mistake
- Did not fit or not compatible
- Arrived later than expected
- Other reason
For returns due to the above Personal Reasons, the buyer refund will be reduced to cover return shipping and payment processing fees.
Product Reasons for Return
Examples include:
- Item was damaged in transit
- Item is significantly different from described
- Item is counterfeit, inauthentic, or misrepresented
- Item does not function as intended
- Item is missing components or incomplete
- Wrong item was sent
For returns due to Product Reasons, the buyer will receive a full refund. The seller will be charged for the return shipping label and payment processing fees. However, buyers must provide clear photo evidence of the product issue. If item was lost or damaged during transit, images of the packaging and shipping label must also be included. Additional documentation may be requested by the Motohub Support team and must be submitted within 48 hours. If photo evidence is not provided within the required timeframe, then the return may be canceled, the sale will be finalized, and the funds will be released to the seller.
For either return reason, the buyer will receive a prepaid return label upon approval of the return (if applicable). The package must be scanned by the carrier within 5 business days of return approval to remain valid. If the return is not shipped within adequate time as described above, then the return may be canceled, the sale will be finalized, and the funds will be released to the seller.
The buyer must return the item in the same condition as received – unmodified and secured in the original packaging. Items returned in worse condition or damaged may not be eligible for a refund.
If Your Product Is Not Eligible for Returns
If the item is not eligible for returns, the buyer is still protected by Motohub Buyer Protection, which provides full or partial refunds for major issues when valid evidence is provided within 72 hours of carrier-confirmed delivery.

- Item was confirmed lost by the carrier
- Item was damaged in transit

- Item is missing components or incomplete
- Wrong item was sent
Not Covered
- Transactions conducted outside Motohub
- Issues with forwarded or re-shipped orders
- Unauthorized or fraudulent purchases (handled by your payment provider)
How to Request Buyer Protection
- Contact the seller within 72 hours of delivery to try to resolve the issue directly.
- If unresolved, reach out to Motohub Support with order details and evidence.
- Our team will review the case and guide you through the next steps.
